Can anyone help me please, I was a child living in Tanganyika/Tanzania in the 1960s and I flew to and from Iringa to Dar es salaam every term in a DC3 which was piloted by a red haired pilot with a magnificent handlebar moustache, I was told he was ex RAF. Whenever we came into Iringa he would taxi towards the small airport building and then made sure his wing went over the building which was very small. It frightened the staff every time and to a 12 year old it was very funny and great fun. Does anyone know who this pilot would have been, he made my trips great fun and I would love to know his name.

Well Alison the consensus of opinion appears to be.... Paul Harrowing. (two people came up with the same name). Hope that helps David (leave a message on the EAA website www.eastafricanairways.com if you wish to be contacted).
